Christopher Raeburn has been a huge favourite of ours for many seasons now. His almost playful style to luxury fashion, alongside a strong aesthetic is always a must see.
The chameleon neon camouflage invites attendees received certainly hinted at just what the infamous animal bag would be that Raeburn produces each season.
Whilst we could delve into just how much we loved the aesthetic, and the style of the collection. From the dark camouflage, to the strapped army bombers, and of course the inclusion of plenty of neon, there was something much more interesting throughout the entire collection.
Around 30% of his AW17 collection was from the Christopher Raeburn REMADE line, a line that is created from organic suppliers and rebuilt army surplus. It’s exciting that in this fast fashion world that Raeburn is taking a stand, showing that brilliant high-end fashion can be created this way.
A great example of this were the duffel coats in the collection, panelled with recycled fleece from Danish army blankets, to create camouflage patterns, which of course the chameleon accented.
Our favourites are below, we’re sure you’ll see some of this AW17 grace the pages of our next print issue!
