Matthew Miller
It’s only the second day of LCM yet Matthew Miller might have already taken the title of our favourite show of the week. The skull oil painting styled invites gave a clue to what the collection had to offer, and the show didn’t disappoint.

We loved the dark aesthetic, concise, refined and almost renaissance. Layering, plenty of black and even the odd bomber jacket caught our eye. Our absolute favourite, like so many other attendees, was the printed jacket [pictured] of the aforementioned oil painting style. It was great to see some androgyny with the casting too, which was the icing on an already perfect cake.

Tiger Of Sweden
Tiger Of Sweden yet again produced refined dark rock’n’roll perfection. The edgy yet concise AW16 show had it all, from the signature three piece suits, to leather jackets adorned with edgy, yet romantic detailing. Yet another strong showing from one of our favourite brands in menswear.

Christopher Shannon – Notable Mention
The Christopher Shannon AW16 collection of course wasn’t dark, it followed his usual signature. But he had to get a notable mention for the clear PVC trenchcoat over an all black look. [pictured left]. We couldn’t take our eyes of that look. Even teamed with a touch of ‘health goth’ in black reebok classics. It’s a beautifully presented, attitude laden dark style look we just fell in love with.
