Dark Style Roundup SS16 Day 3
September 21, 2015
Phoebe English once again created a stunningly beautiful collection. Held in the Royal College of Surgeons, the show felt like it forced you to reflect on each and every piece. There was never two models present, giving the time to really take in each look and each garment.
Phoebe English’s signature style shone through again, with the monochrome collection accompanied by accents of red, both intricate and delicate. The most prominent style was the woven flax alongside organza layered over linen twill.
We have always had a special place for David Koma. His designs dance on the edge of our remit, and always impress us. This season was no different with a few of the looks really worthy of being featured in the dark style roundup.
For Spring Summer 2016 KTZ clearly decided to take a different path. A collection that was more grown-up, refined and in-fact fashion than previous seasons. Whilst we are a fan of the bold edgy past collections, this new path seemed just as feasible. With some fantastic pieces to boot.
Notable mention: Charli Cohen
Charli Cohen gave us a new vision of sportswear. With inspiration taken from superheroes, which matched the strength of athletic activity. A really strong and concise sportswear collection which clearly was well thought out from the gym, to the active lifestyle attached.
