Felder Felder rock our world. There’s no doubt about it. After attending every single show they have ever put on at London Fashion Week, we were just as excited for the AW13 season collection.

For Spring Summer 2013 we were a little distracted by both Kate Nash performing at the show and of course Charlotte Free walking. But this time our focus was firmly on the design duos talent, and it was one hell of a collection.

The first thing to mention was the use of latex, and latex done right. With our time and experience with latex designers I would like to think we are the most qualified to make the statement that; Felder Felder placed latex into a collection better than any fashion brand before them. It had attitude, elegance and luxury. The fit and cut of the latex fabric was just perfect.

The reason for this is simple, the design duo saw the fabric as a material like any other for use within the collection. With that thought process the latex skirts and trousers complimented the other pieces beautifully, with our favourite of all, the subtlest of black latex shining through the neck of a strong and structured trench coat.

Combining this with knitwear and other separates created a concise and strong aesthetic, like only Felder Felder can.

There is a certain type of attitude that Felder Felder collections produce and that is what we have fallen in love with over the years. A bold attitude that creates this sublime aesthetic we will never tire of. Felder Felder is still the coolest and best show at London Fashion Week without a shadow of a doubt.
