We summoned [or more seriously predicted] Dora Abodi in our Mourn or Summon piece on day one to bring us some serious dark style, and she didn’t disappoint.

In what currently is one of the three darkest collections of the week Dora Abodi took over Freemasons Hall and got things macabre, fast. There was a juxtaposition between black and coloured prints which gave the collection wearability and whilst maintaining its dark roots.

The last look was incredible, as if Doctor Who had landed in Disney, found Maleficent and the Silence had caught up with them. From her horns, to the markings all over her skin.

The use of black feathers throughout the collection, but especially in the show pieces gave an incredible aesthetic to the show. Something so light created an accent that felt so heavy, and in turn it was hauntingly beautiful.

With our Hocus Pocus print issue coming out in the next few months, there’s no hiding we’ll have an eye on Dora Abodi for her macabre, witchy style!
