Quiksilver SS16 Stay HIgh

Our love for the new direction Quiksilver is taking the brand continues. After the quite frankly badass ‘Dark Rituals’ collection [that I must say, I wear nearly everyday at the moment], creative director Josh Rush continues the raw attitude into Spring Summer 2016.

The SS16 collection is entitled ‘Stay High’ and is continued to be split into the AM and PM ranges. One for the beach and one for the street.

The birthplace of Carnival, Rio De Janiero is at the heart of the inaugural collection. The streetwear line features bold graffiti prints in turn influenced by painted walls of São Conrado Beach contrasted with painted tiles of the vast Rocinha Favela, home to the Favela Surf Club.

Clearly we’re pretty pleased that Quiksilver has left some darker pieces within this bright SS16 collection, still maintaining a fair amount of black for those of us who never wear any other colour. Right now we’re loving vibrant 90s prints on jet black.

The campaign dropped recently, and you can see some of our favourites below…
